Like many established software companies, we started our company after struggles in the industry that we are now serving. After seven years of captaincy for shipping companies, our founder and CEO Bart Schut turned his experience at sea into a mission to provide solutions that unburden captains from any administrative hassle and other distractions. It resulted in the start of Green Maritime's journey, a successful venture joined by legal expert Henk Jan Schouten van der Velden and IT expert and COO Johan van Ommen.
