What this means for your ship
Since 1 January 2025, EU MRV covers general cargo ships of 400–5,000 GT and offshore vessels from 400 GT (Regulation (EU) 2015/757, as amended – in force). Here is what that means on board, and what we do about it.
What applies to you
EU MRV since 1 January 2025 for general cargo ships of 400–5,000 GT and offshore vessels from 400 GT. EU ETS does not apply to you yet. Small tankers: MRV from 2029 under the Commission proposal.
What changes on board
GM Essential: GPS tracking and smart templates for fuel and draught. Every entry is checked the moment it is entered. No spreadsheets, no retyping.
What we take off your plate
The monitoring plan, the contact with your verifier and the THETIS upload. One contact person who picks up the phone.
Start small, grow when you want
1. Start with GM Essential. GPS-based tracking and smart templates for fuel and draught. Fully EU MRV, IMO DCS and FuelEU compliant – monitoring plan included.
2. Try it on one vessel. A pilot first. See how it works before you commit.
3. Grow to GM Advanced when you want. A flowmeter on the main engine, installed in days around your port calls. Real-time fuel insight on top of compliance.
4. One contact person. Questions, verifier, deadlines – you call one number.
